Sharks are the white blood cells of the ocean

“Sharks are the white blood cells of the ocean, they help regulate the ecosystems. Without them we would have what is called a trophic cascade, meaning everything beneath them will crumble” - Kayleigh Slowey

I collaborated with Kayleigh Slowey, an underwater photographer and marine conservationist. We combined her photography with my hand drawn type to create this image highlighting the importance of sharks to our oceans.
